THE TRIUMPH OF THE TRUTH
May11,2003
I believe in The Triumph Of The Truth (among saints,
now).
THE TRIUMPH OF THE TRUTH means (to me!) that The
Saints will all (when exposed to any-thing that is more true and
complete than what they affirmed before) EMBRACE that higher truth, EVERY
TIME, without fail.
That is – among the company of The Saved,
the person who best speaks for God on any matter at issue, will emerge as
the freely acknowledged leader of the fellowship and master of the issue
under consdieration. I also call this “True Spiritual Democracy”.
THERE MAY BE A TIME (a period; a while) during which
complete and unreserved concession to the person who is most-right (on the
matter in contention) is withheld. During that time, each one is
re-evaluating their attitudes and opinions in the light of their own best
welfare, since they consider it to be an impossibility for themselves to
advance and gain against The Truth in any matter.
(2 Cor 13:8 KJV) For we can do nothing against the
truth, but for the truth.
One must have faith for themselves that 2 Corinthians
13:8 is true………. irrevocably true - before they can leave off the
worry that either themselves, or someone else, may persist in an error that
God reacts to with repudiation, failure and ruin.
When once 2 Corinthians 13:8 is affirmed without
reserve and all contrary thoughts are dismissed as falsehood and lies, all
desperation to “win” arguments dissipates. It is when a man
FEARS that “his truth” may not be vindicated that he
rushes into reckless tactics and aggressive behaviors in the attempt to “win
the argument” with other men. He needs to feel vindicated before
other men in the discussion.
Insecurity NEEDS converts and applause in
order to soothe it’s fears of being found wrong.
(John 5:44 KJV) How can ye believe, which receive
honour one of another, and seek not the honour that cometh from God only?
HAVE NO FEAR
(Phil 1:6 KJV) Being confident of this very thing,
that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of
Jesus Christ:
